Young European Police Officers Unite for Cross-Border Training in Germany
The Police University of Applied Sciences Rhineland-Palatinate recently hosted the 24th International Project Week in May 2025. The event, attended by young police officers from nine European countries, aimed to foster intercultural dialogue and share policing experiences.
Participants gained insights into the structures and working methods of the Rhineland-Palatinate police. A highlight was a visit to the Police Headquarters in Koblenz, where they saw modern equipment and professional organisation. The group also witnessed a presentation of the new police helicopter.
The event brought together officers from Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, France, the UK, Luxembourg, Romania, and Spain. It provided opportunities for discussions and mutual learning, contributing to a better understanding of policing in a European context and the further development of police work.
