Zarechnaya metro station reopens two key areas after months of repairs
Two key areas of Zarechnaya metro station in Nizhny Novgorod will reopen next week. Exit No. 3 and Vestibule No. 2 are set to welcome passengers again on November 19. The move comes after months of closure for essential maintenance work.
The reopening follows the completion of roof repairs at Exit No. 3. This entrance had been shut while contractors carried out structural fixes. Officials have not disclosed which company handled the work.
Vestibule No. 2 will also resume service on the same date. However, the underground passage beneath Lenin Avenue near this entrance remains closed. Further repairs are still underway in that section.
Passengers will regain access to Exit No. 3 and Vestibule No. 2 from November 19. The partial reopening eases movement through the station, though the pedestrian tunnel under Lenin Avenue stays shut. No timeline has been given for its full restoration.
