Zeven Police Welcomes New Community Liaison After 30 Years of Steady Leadership
Zeven Police has appointed a new community liaison officer after nearly three decades under the same leadership. Michael Henne, a 55-year-old Police Senior Commissioner, takes over the role from Rolf Meyer, who recently retired. The position serves as the main point of contact for public enquiries and concerns about local policing.
Henne is no stranger to the Zeven Police Station. A native of the town, he has worked there for several years in various capacities. His background includes service in patrol duties, emergency response units, and criminal investigations.
The transition marks a new chapter for Zeven’s community policing. Henne’s experience in different police units is expected to shape his approach to public engagement. Residents can now direct their policing concerns to him directly.
