Altai Krai proposes fines for ignoring emergency orders by governor
In Altai Krai, lawmakers are preparing to introduce penalties for failing to comply with decisions issued by the governor and the regional emergency task force. The legislative assembly of Altai Krai is set to review the draft law during its session on April 30, according to Tolk news outlet.
The proposed amendments would modify the regional law "On Administrative Liability for Offenses in Altai Krai." The changes target non-compliance with measures designed to protect the population and territory from emergencies, as well as those aimed at meeting the needs of the Russian Armed Forces.
If the deputies approve the bill, violators will face the following fines: - Individuals: 1,500 to 3,000 rubles - Officials: 3,000 to 10,000 rubles - Legal entities: 10,000 to 20,000 rubles
Authorities note that the region currently lacks a mechanism to enforce such penalties.
Should the law be adopted, it will take effect 10 days after its official publication.
