Berlin police hunt four suspects after brutal Alexanderplatz subway attack

Berlin police have released surveillance camera images and are asking for the public's help in identifying four unknown suspects wanted in connection with a violent group assault at Alexanderplatz U-Bahn station on Sunday, May 22, 2022. At around 5:10 a.m., a 23-year-old man is alleged to have become involved in an altercation with a group that included the four individuals pictured. According to investigators, the victim was repeatedly punched, kicked, and struck with a glass bottle by members of the group, sustaining injuries to his face and head.
Criminal police are seeking information from anyone who: — Saw the suspects before or after the attack — Can provide details about their identities or whereabouts — Has additional information about how the assault unfolded or the direction in which the suspects fled — Can offer any other relevant leads to assist the investigation
Tips can be reported to the Criminal Investigation Division of Directorate 5 (City).
