BJP Mobilizes Bihar Migrants in Haryana for Elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leaving no stone unturned to ensure maximum voter participation from Bihar natives residing in Haryana for the upcoming Bihar elections. Scheduled for two phases on Nov 6 and 11, the BJP has initiated a series of measures to facilitate voting for the migrant workers. The BJP has dispatched Vistarakas to Bihar for voter mobilization and engagement. In Haryana, the party has arranged special buses to help migrants return home to vote, transforming Haryana into a party city for Bihar voters. Factory owners in the state have been requested to grant paid leave to Bihar migrant workers to facilitate their participation in the polls. The BJP aims to impress Bihar natives living in Haryana with this initiative, which was started months earlier during Bihar Diwas celebrations and Chhath Puja festivities. Over one lakh Bihar voters residing in Haryana have been contacted by the BJP. The party's strategy focuses on promoting its message of good governance and encouraging voter participation. Senior Haryana BJP leaders, including Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar, Haryana Ministers Vipul Goyal and Rao Narbir Singh, and others, have been tasked with coordinating logistical efforts for migrant voters from Bihar. The total number of migrants from Bihar with registered votes back home is estimated to be between 2.5 and 3 lakh. With these initiatives, the BJP hopes to maximize voter turnout and make a strong impression among Bihar natives living in Haryana, turning Haryana into a party city for Bihar voters. The party's efforts to facilitate voting for migrant workers demonstrate its commitment to democratic participation and engagement with the Bihar electorate.
