Dispute over Boiler: Woman strikes with iron bar - Boiler dispute in Ansbach turns into violent assault with iron bar

A broken boiler in Ansbach has sparked such heated tensions that a dispute between a tenant and his landlady spiraled violently out of control—with a dangerous weapon suddenly entering the fray.

A confrontation between the two parties escalated after a 50-year-old woman allegedly grabbed an iron bar, police reported. The incident began when a leaking boiler in the 47-year-old tenant's apartment set off the conflict.

After the man reported the issue to his landlady, a verbal argument erupted in his home on Tuesday, police said—apparently not for the first time. But the situation turned violent when the 50-year-old allegedly lunged at her tenant. According to investigators, she struck the 47-year-old repeatedly on the head with the iron bar.

Tenant Suffers Minor Injuries

The altercation then expanded into a physical struggle involving the tenant and the landlady's 17-year-old son. The 47-year-old sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police have launched criminal investigations against all parties involved on suspicion of assault. Officers also faced obstruction from two additional individuals who interfered with law enforcement efforts. When the pair refused to stop despite repeated warnings, police issued both with temporary bans from the scene.
