Drunk Polish driver crashes car without license or insurance in Görlitz
A Polish driver, aged 28, was arrested in Görlitz after a car crash. He tested positive for alcohol and cannabis, and was driving without a license, registration, or car insurance. The driver also had an outstanding theft fine of €750, with a 70-day imprisonment threat if not paid within two weeks.
The incident occurred as the man was driving a VW Passat across the Görlitz city bridge. Federal police officers discovered his driving ban during a routine check at the border control containers. The driver's reckless behaviour led to charges of driving under the influence and violating narcotics laws. This is not his first offence; he had previously been caught driving without a license in the same city. The driver's disregard for traffic rules and legal obligations has raised concerns about public safety.
The Polish driver's actions have resulted in serious charges and potential imprisonment. Authorities are urging drivers to adhere to traffic laws and obtain valid licenses and car insurance to ensure safety on the roads.
