Elderly woman robbed of gold jewellery at Duisburg tram stop
DUISBURG (Germany) — An unidentified woman violently tore gold jewelry from the wrists of a 78-year-old victim near the "Brauerei" tram stop on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße on Thursday afternoon (March 26, 4:15 p.m.) before fleeing toward the Laar district.
The elderly woman told responding officers that the assailant appeared to be around 50 years old, wearing a colorful headscarf, a dress, and a gray coat. The Criminal Investigation Division (K13) has launched an investigation and is appealing for witnesses. Anyone who saw the incident is urged to contact the criminal police.
