Fire at Pavlovo dairy plant disrupts operations after transformer blaze

A fire broke out at a dairy processing plant in Pavlovo on the afternoon of May 16. The blaze started in a transformer substation on Trudovaya Street The fire engulfed an area of 40 square metres around the transformer kiosk. No injuries were reported, though the cause of the incident remains unclear.

Twenty-eight firefighters responded to the call, deploying seven vehicles to tackle the flames. Their efforts brought the situation under control, preventing further damage to the plant. Investigators are now examining the site to determine what triggered the transformer fire.

The incident caused no casualties, but the dairy plant may face disruptions while repairs are carried out. Authorities have not yet released details on when the substation will be fully operational again.
