Food delivery driver brutally attacked by fake customers in Duisburg
A 51-year-old food delivery driver told officers he was about to make a delivery when two men approached him on the street, claiming they had ordered the food. As he bent down to retrieve the pizzas from the heated compartment, one of the men struck him on the head with an object. The assailants then fled with the pizza box.
The suspects are believed to be between 18 and 22 years old, roughly 5'5" to 5'7" tall, and have blonde hair.
The 51-year-old suffered a bleeding head injury and was taken to a hospital for further treatment. Criminal Investigation Division 13 has launched an investigation and is seeking witnesses. If you saw the incident, please contact the police.
