Georgian Dream dominates 2025 political party funding with ₾26.5 million
Political parties in Georgia reported a combined income of around ₾49 million ($18.3 million) in 2025. Donations made up the largest share of this total, covering 55% of all funds raised. The ruling Georgian Dream party led the figures with ₾26.5 million ($9.9 million), more than half of the total income. Of this, ₾18 million ($6.7 million) came from individual donors. The party’s earnings surpassed the combined total of all other political groups.
The opposition United National Movement (UNM) followed with ₾9.4 million ($3.5 million). Lelo came next, securing nearly ₾8 million ($2.9 million). The Republican Party of Georgia received around ₾1.5 million ($560,000), while the Coalition for Change brought in approximately ₾187,000 ($70,000). In total, all other parties combined collected ₾22.5 million ($8.4 million). Georgian Dream’s dominance in fundraising was clear, as its income exceeded that of every other party added together. Donations remained the primary source of revenue across the board.
