Ghana’s Parliament launches new leadership training to strengthen governance
MP Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, representing Salaga-South Constituency, participated in the launch of a significant Capacity Building Program. This initiative targets leaders of parliamentary committees, aiming to bolster their skills and enhance Parliament's overall capacity.
The program's primary goal is to fortify leadership, oversight, and legislative abilities of committee chairs and members. By empowering these leaders, the initiative anticipates improved lawmaking, stronger scrutiny of government actions, and enhanced service delivery for Ghanaian citizens.
The program is designed to bolster Parliament's institutional strength and foster more responsive representation at the constituency level. MP Ibrahimah, who attended the launch, expressed support for this training program, acknowledging its potential to equip committee leaders with vital skills.
The Capacity Building Program for Parliamentary Committee leadership, launched recently, seeks to empower committee chairs and members.
