Jordan Hagen sentenced to 40 years for child trafficking and exploitation
Jordan Hagen, 25, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison and 10 years of probation for multiple child sex crimes. The case involved the trafficking and exploitation of a 15-year-old girl from Frisco. Hagen was initially charged in Utah with two counts of second-degree felony human trafficking for sexual exploitation. He responded to an online post offering a fictitious 9-year-old child for prostitution and travelled there to purchase the child. He was arrested and charged with trafficking in the state.
Hagen communicated with the victim through the platforms Chatib and Session. He held her against her will in his apartment in Denton. A court found him guilty of trafficking the girl, as well as aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child, online solicitation of a minor, and possession or promotion of lewd visual material.
For each charge, Hagen was fined $4,000—the same amount he had attempted to sell the victim for online. The sentencing follows a series of serious convictions. Hagen will serve four decades in prison and a further decade under probation. The fines and prison term reflect the severity of his crimes.
