Kazakhstan and Brazil strengthen ties in high-level diplomatic meeting

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira in a recent diplomatic meeting. The visit highlights growing ties between the two nations. Mauro Vieira arrived in Kazakhstan at the personal request of Brazilian President Lula da Silva. During the meeting, Tokayev emphasised Brazil’s role as one of Kazakhstan’s key partners in Latin America.

The two sides explored ways to deepen cooperation in several sectors. Discussions covered energy, mining, metallurgy, agriculture, innovation, and artificial intelligence. Tokayev also extended warm greetings to President Lula da Silva and invited him to visit Kazakhstan. The meeting underlines the commitment to strengthen bilateral relations. Both countries aim to expand collaboration in strategic economic and technological areas. The invitation to President Lula da Silva signals a potential high-level visit in the future.
