Kyrgyzstan Cracks Down on Late-Night Venues with Forced Power Cuts
Kyrgyzstan's GKNB chief Kamchybek Tashiev has taken stern action against restaurants, cafés, and nightclubs defying the 10:00 PM curfew. He ordered forced power cuts for establishments refusing to close on time.
Tashiev's move comes after reports of venues ignoring local executive authorities and continuing celebrations past the permitted hour. He stressed that local authorities are responsible for enforcing public order laws. Despite a government decree in place, it seems not all local levels are fully complying. Tashiev warned that power cuts will be implemented if establishments persist in staying open after 10:00 PM.
Kamchybek Tashiev's order aims to ensure restaurants, cafés, and nightclubs adhere to the 10:00 PM curfew. Non-compliance may result in power disconnections, highlighting the GKNB's commitment to upholding public order laws.
