Laura Loomer calls India the best country she's ever visited
American activist Laura Loomer has described India as the best country she has ever visited. During her recent trip, she praised the people, food, culture, and hospitality as incredible. Her experience has also led her to rethink some of her earlier views about the nation.
Loomer spent time exploring various parts of India, including a visit to an elephant sanctuary. She also met the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala, calling both experiences safe and welcoming. Throughout her stay, she said she felt comfortable and secure.
At the India Today Conclave, she acknowledged that some of her past remarks had hurt the Indian community. While maintaining her stance on US immigration policy, she apologised for any offensive comments made in the past.
Her trip has shifted her perspective on India, which she now believes will become the next major global superpower.
Loomer plans to return to India, with a particular interest in exploring South India next time. She has expressed admiration for the country's warmth and potential. The visit appears to have left a lasting impression on her views and future travel plans.
