Leaders of Top Universities and Heads of State Meet at International Forum
The International Forum of Strategic Partners recently gathered leaders of top foreign universities. Notable participants included Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), MGIMO University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Cardiff University, Woosong University, MEPhI, and Minerva University. Representatives of major global ranking and accreditation agencies also attended.
The forum brought together influential figures from the academic world. QS, a renowned ranking agency, was present, along with MGIMO University from Russia and Beijing Language and Culture University from China. Cardiff University, representing Wales, and Woosong University from South Korea also participated. MEPhI, a leading Russian university, and Minerva University from the United States were among the notable attendees.
In addition to these educational institutions, the forum saw the participation of heads of state from Central Asian countries and Russia. Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Vladimir Putin of Russia, Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, and Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan all attended the second ‘Central Asia–Russia’ summit in Dushanbe, chaired by President Tokayev on 9 October.
The International Forum of Strategic Partners provided a platform for top universities and leaders to discuss strategic partnerships and collaborations. The presence of QS and other ranking agencies indicates the forum's significance in shaping global academic trends. The heads of state from Central Asian countries and Russia added a political dimension to the event, highlighting its importance in regional relations.
