Liberal Initiative demands total transparency in political party funding

Following the Socialist Party (PS), the Social Democratic Party (PSD), and Chega, the Liberal Initiative (IL) has also acknowledged the need to ensure "complete" transparency in party financing, particularly regarding donations. Speaking to Expresso, a source from IL's parliamentary group stated that the party supports a process guaranteeing "total" and "absolute transparency," as should already be enshrined in legislation. "If the current law leaves room for doubt or interpretations that restrict access to this information, then yes, it must be clarified," the source argued.
