Lord Sugar and Dr Leah Totton sell £7m clinic chain stake

Dr Leah Totton and Lord Alan Sugar have sold a majority stake in their cosmetic clinic chain, Dr Leah Clinics. The business, valued at over £7 million, was acquired by Advanced Aesthetics Partners (AAP). Both founders will retain a shareholding in the company. Dr Leah Totton, a former NHS A&E doctor, launched the clinic chain after winning The Apprentice in 2013. The brand now operates across London and Essex, offering treatments like non-surgical facelifts, injectable fillers, and skin procedures. A skincare line, introduced in 2022, was also part of the deal.

AAP specialises in buying UK aesthetic clinics and plans to grow the Dr Leah brand further. While the exact sale price remains undisclosed, the transaction follows another successful exit for Lord Sugar—Climb Online, a digital marketing firm from The Apprentice, sold for around £10 million in 2022. Previously, Sugar also profited from selling his stake in Tropic Skincare in a multi-million pound deal. The deal marks another post-Apprentice success for Lord Sugar and Dr Totton. The clinic chain will continue under new ownership, with both founders staying involved as shareholders. AAP’s expansion plans suggest further growth for the brand in the aesthetics market.
