Police Safely Return Four-Year-Old Girl to Her Parents
Lost 4-Year-Old Leads Berlin Police on 800-Meter Walk to Her Parents
Berlin (dpa/bb) — A four-year-old girl was found wandering alone on Riesaer Straße in Berlin's Hellersdorf district—until she was fortunately spotted by police officers, who safely reunited her with her parents. "Since she couldn't yet speak—or perhaps was simply too overwhelmed by her new companions—she took one of our colleague's hands and showed him the way home," the police stated in their press release.
The little local guide led the officers about 800 meters through the streets until they finally met her parents outside a supermarket on Louis-Lewin-Straße. "Our colleagues said their goodbyes with a friendly tip: future adventures are best explored with Mom and Dad," the police wrote.
