Missing 73-year-old man found safe in Braunschweig after overnight search
BRAUNSCHWEIG. A 73-year-old man from the eastern ring district of Braunschweig had been reported missing since Saturday night. Police launched a search operation and appealed to the public for assistance. However, shortly after the call went out, authorities received word that the missing man had already been found.
At around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, police had asked the public for help in locating the 73-year-old.
Yet just one hour later, officers announced: "The 73-year-old was found by emergency responders within the city. He is in good condition. Nevertheless, we thank you for your support."
