Myntra names Sharon Pais as new CEO amid rapid delivery expansion

Walmart-owned Flipkart Group has appointed Sharon Pais as the CEO of its fashion platform Myntra, marking a leadership transition following the exit of CEO Nandita Sinha.

Pais takes on the role with immediate effect and will report to group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy.

In an internal note, Krishnamurthy said she had "worked closely with the team over the years and understands the business well."

Nandita Sinha, who has led Myntra since 2022, will continue in an advisory capacity over the coming months to support the transition and ongoing initiatives.

Kalyan Krishnamurthy added, "Nandita will continue to support the business in an advisory role over the next few months to ensure continuity, including on key initiatives."

"Over the years, we have consistently built for GenZ ahead of the curve, quietly pioneered new frontiers in social commerce and championed the D2C ecosystem, while enabling brands across the spectrum to unlock their potential and tap the India market," Nandita said.

Pais previously served as Myntra's chief business officer (CBO) before moving to head Flipkart's fashion division.

As part of the wider reshuffle, Kapil Thirani will now lead Flipkart Fashion, reporting to Sakait Chaudhary, while the company begins the search for a new head of its marketplace business.

During Sinha's tenure, Myntra reported its first profitable fiscal year. Profit rose sharply to Rs 548 crore in FY25, up from Rs 30 crore in FY24, while revenue increased 18% to Rs 6,042.7 crore.

A key focus under Pais will be expanding Myntra's rapid delivery service, M-Now, which offers deliveries starting in 30 minutes and is commonly described as a 30-60 minute service.

"We are scaling M-Now to meet changing customer expectations," Pais said, adding that demand is increasingly driven by the need for immediacy in premium fashion, often linked to specific occasions or social trends.

The service, which was launched in November 2024, is now active in 10 cities, covering more than 940 pin codes and offering around 100,000 styles from over 1,000 brands.

According to Pais, M-Now accounted for about 10% of total orders in areas where it operates as of November 2025, with its contribution expected to grow further as the service expands.

She added that consumer demand in the fashion segment remains resilient despite broader pressures on discretionary spending, noting continued momentum beyond the festive period.
