Nizhny Novgorod social entrepreneurs urged to shape future support policies

Social entrepreneurs in Nizhny Novgorod have until 25 January 2026 to share their views in a new survey. The questionnaire, organised by the Institute for Social and Economic Project Development of the HSE, aims to assess demand for support measures in the sector. It also seeks feedback on proposed legislative improvements for non-state social service providers and social enterprises. The survey follows a 2025 meeting of the Social Entrepreneurship working group under the State Council Commission. During that session, experts developed proposals to strengthen legislation in the sector. To refine these ideas, an expert council was later formed to draft a concept for future legislative changes.

The current questionnaire, available at **[https://forms.yandex.ru/u/6932ba6df47e7305ecda3349](https://forms.yandex.ru/u/6932ba6df47e7305ecda3349)**, is conducted on behalf of the *Agency for Strategic Initiatives for the Promotion of New Projects*. Responses will help identify gaps in existing support and highlight areas where innovation could address social challenges more effectively. Analysing the collected data will guide improvements in support quality. Better-targeted assistance is expected to boost project development and encourage new approaches in tackling social issues across the region.

The deadline for participation is 25 January 2026. Results from the survey will directly inform legislative adjustments and support programmes. Enhanced measures could lead to more efficient solutions for pressing social problems in Nizhny Novgorod.
