The store appears to be a clothing boutique, with a variety of clothing items for sale.

Omsk's last plus-size fashion store LModel' faces final closure after founder's tragic death

Omsk's LModel' Plus-Size Women's Clothing Store—Founded by Late Entrepreneur Alena Kalagurova—Set to Close

The LModel' plus-size women's clothing store in Omsk, once owned by businesswoman Alena Kalagurova, who died in a plane crash, is shutting down.

Omsk-Inform has begun investigating the reasons behind the store's closure, but employees flatly refused to explain why the business is being liquidated.

"Why should I answer that question? Or are you looking to buy our store?" was the response from staff.

The sudden move suggests the store may be preparing for an urgent sale.

Kalagurova, the store's founder, tragically perished in an August 2024 plane crash alongside Omsk businessman Sergei Fyodorov, who was at the controls. Their light aircraft went down in Primorsky Krai.

Investigators concluded that the pilot's spatial disorientation while flying through clouds was the primary cause of the crash, attributing it to Fyodorov's lack of sufficient flying experience.

After Kalagurova's death, the store temporarily suspended operations but later reopened. At its peak, LModel' had two locations in Omsk, but only one remains—inside the Novy Dom business center on Karl Marx Street. That final outlet now appears to be up for sale.
