Paramedic Assaulted During Rose Monday Parade in Horb
A paramedic on duty was physically attacked on Monday during the Rose Monday parade in Horb.
According to current police findings, the paramedic was attending to a patient when he brought a stretcher to the scene. An altercation then occurred in which an 18-year-old man accused the paramedic of placing the stretcher on his foot. The young man subsequently grabbed the paramedic and pushed him against a post.
Bystanders at the parade were able to de-escalate the situation. The paramedic was not physically injured.
Police have launched an investigation and are asking any witnesses to the incident to come forward by contacting the Horb am Neckar police station at +49 7451 96-0.
