Russian official fined for using government car for personal errands
The head of Vachsky District, Sergei Lisin, has been fined for misusing a government vehicle. The incident took place on February 7, when he used the official car for personal tasks. Authorities later penalised him under anti-corruption regulations.
On February 7, Lisin was found using a district-owned car for private errands. He later explained that he had been in a hurry to attend a local competition.
The case was reviewed by officials, who determined the action violated anti-corruption laws. As a result, Lisin received a fine of 300 rubles.
The penalty follows a clear breach of rules on government vehicle use. Lisin’s fine serves as a formal response to the misuse of public resources. The case has now been closed.
