In the picture we can see three boys standing near the desk on it, we can see two computer systems towards them and one boy is talking into the microphone and they are in ID cards with red tags to it and behind them we can see a wall with an advertisement board and written on it as Russia imagine 2013.

Russia’s GosStart forum empowers young civil servants with hands-on leadership

The all-Russian forum GosStart, held in Nizhny Novgorod on November 12 and 13, brought together over 50 young civil servants and municipal employees. The event, focusing on young politicians, saw Speaker Yevgeny Lyulin lead a session for aspiring leaders.

Lyulin, impressed by the depth of questions and projects presented by the youth, urged them to gain practical experience beyond desk-bound work. He encouraged them to take on challenging, high-stakes roles when needed, emphasizing that public service brings fulfillment when tangible results are visible.

Lyulin fielded questions for over two hours, discussing support mechanisms, interregional experience sharing, and involvement in social projects. He also praised the initiative 'A Doctor’s Path Beyond the White Coat' presented by Oksana Saidova, a radiologist from Moscow, inviting him to explore her hospital’s practices.

The forum provided opportunities for experience sharing and professional development, helping young people understand governance processes better. Lyulin's guidance and the youth's energy, combined with state support, can transform life in cities and villages.
