Sigmar Gabriel returns to Wolfenbüttel for a night of political insights and stories
Former German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel will appear in Wolfenbüttel on June 8 as part of the Loge Live event series. Known for his sharp political insights and engaging storytelling, he will speak at the Lessing Theater after the event was postponed from its original March date. The evening is organised by the Freemason Lodge Wilhelm zu den drei Säulen and will begin at 7:30 PM. Due to high public interest, the venue was moved from its original location to the larger Lessing Theater. Thomas Stechert, the lodge’s Worshipful Master, will lead the discussion with Gabriel.
Gabriel, who was born in Goslar, has held key political roles, including Minister-President of Lower Saxony and Vice Chancellor of Germany. His reputation for wit and analytical depth in political debates has drawn attention to the event. Admission is free, and remaining tickets are still available at the Wolfenbüttel theater box office.
The event marks Gabriel’s return to the region, where he will share perspectives on political dealmaking and public life. Organisers expect a full house, reflecting both local interest and the former vice chancellor’s enduring influence in German politics.
