Teen motorcyclist critically injured after losing control in Hude crash
A 19-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Hude on Friday evening. The crash happened around 8:00 PM in the Altmoorhausen district, where the rider lost control of his light motorcycle and fell. The teenager was travelling along Dorfstraße toward Bremer Straße when he spotted an agricultural vehicle turning left. In an attempt to avoid a collision, he braked sharply and swerved. The manoeuvre caused him to lose control, resulting in a crash.
Emergency services rushed the rider to hospital with severe injuries. Authorities later confirmed he did not hold the correct licence class for the motorcycle he was operating. Police have launched an investigation into the incident. The 19-year-old now faces suspicion of driving without a valid licence. No collision with the agricultural vehicle occurred.
The motorcyclist remains under medical care for his injuries. Investigations into the licence violation are ongoing. Authorities have not yet released further details on his condition or potential charges.
