Teen's drunken joyride in Wiesbaden ends in crashes and police chase
A 16-year-old took a borrowed car on a reckless joyride through Wiesbaden's Westend district late Saturday night, damaging several vehicles before attempting to flee, police in Wiesbaden reported.
Around 1:30 a.m., the teen was driving along Bleichstraße when he lost control of the car—after drinking alcohol—and collided with multiple parked vehicles.
He then tried to escape, but during his flight, parts of the car, including the license plate, fell off. Officers finally apprehended him in Weißenburgstraße. He now faces charges for driving without a license, hit-and-run, and drunk driving.
