Two trapped after car crash on Celler Straße in Bergen
Two people were trapped inside their car after a crash on Celler Straße in Bergen on Tuesday afternoon. Emergency crews from across the region rushed to the scene to assist the occupants and secure the vehicle. The incident unfolded when a car left the road and came to rest in a position that left its two occupants unable to exit. Though not pinned by the wreckage, they remained trapped inside until help arrived.
Firefighters from Bergen, Offen, and Hassel were among the first responders. They stabilised the vehicle and checked for fire risks while providing initial medical care. Paramedics from Celle district soon took over treatment, with Bergen police also attending the scene.
Rescue teams prepared for a technical extraction but ultimately did not need to carry it out. Despite the swift response, authorities have not yet released details about the cause of the crash or the condition of those involved. The two trapped individuals were freed from the car and handed over to medical staff for further assessment.
