Vladimir Krasilsky named acting director of Penal Colony No. 7
Penal Colony No. 7 has a new acting director. Vladimir Krasilsky took on the role officially on 4 May 2026. The facility is known for producing office furniture, particularly for local medical institutions. Sergey Remnev had led Penal Colony No. 7 since August 2024. He retired on 4 May 2026 after reaching the required length of service for a pension. His departure marked the end of his tenure at the institution.
Vladimir Krasilsky had already been performing director duties in practice since April 2026. During that time, he met with Lyudmila Geizer, chief physician of Polyclinic No. 9, to discuss ongoing collaborations. His official appointment as acting director came shortly after. Krasilsky now oversees Penal Colony No. 7 and its furniture production for regional healthcare providers. The transition follows Remnev’s retirement and maintains continuity in the facility’s operations.
