Wolfenbüttel boys face charges after hurling stones at passing cars
Wolfenbüttel – A group of children damaged a passing car with stone-throwing in Wolfenbüttel, police reported on Monday.
According to authorities, three boys hurled rocks at vehicles from a sidewalk on Leopoldstraße at around 4:30 p.m. last Monday. The projectiles struck the roof of one car, causing an estimated €1,500 in damage.
Police have launched a criminal investigation for dangerous interference with road traffic.
One of the boys was wearing an orange jacket at the time of the incident. Wolfenbüttel police are asking any witnesses to come forward.
