Yakutsk Civil Servant's Fraud Case Resolved After Fake Ticket Scandal
A government agency in Yakutsk has successfully resolved a case involving a civil servant, Ms. D., who attempted to defraud her employer using counterfeit flight tickets from Ticketmaster. The criminal case was terminated on September 11, 2023, following a motion filed by the injured party due to reconciliation.
Ms. D., a civil servant, was caught trying to claim a vacation trip by submitting forged documents for flight tickets she purchased in August 2023 from Ticketmaster. The tickets were fake, and the total reimbursement she received was 164,700 rubles.
Law enforcement opened a criminal case against Ms. D. for fraud. She was subsequently detained, and her employer terminated her employment.
