Yamal Governor Dmitry Artyukhov Meets Paramedics on Their Professional Holiday, Discusses Pressing Work Issues
Yamal Governor pledges upgrades for paramedics and public first aid training
During a visit to the Disaster Medicine Center, awards were presented, and key operational challenges were addressed.
In a social media post, Artyukhov noted that medics had requested upgrades to their cardiac compression devices and the purchase of modern two-way radios. "We will resolve this. In emergency care, there are no minor details—when every minute counts, everything must function flawlessly," he emphasized.
The governor also announced that local medical staff would undergo first aid training. "Anyone can take this course—since the start of the year alone, 1,800 residents have already completed it. These skills are always valuable and could prove crucial in the most unexpected situations," Artyukhov explained.
