On Thursday, August 28, 2025, the Federal Police Academy in Lübeck will host a significant main event. Nearly 700 students will graduate as police commissioners, with the ceremony set to begin at 10:00 AM. The Federal Police Orchestra Hanover will provide musical accompaniment, while distinguished guests from the Federal Ministry of the Interior and other authorities will attend.

The graduation ceremony will feature speeches from Christoph de Vries, Dr. Dieter Romann, and Ulf Strandt. After the ceremony, the heads of the Federal Police’s eleven regional directorates will welcome the graduates for their official appointments.

Media representatives must register for accreditation by Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 6:00 PM via email at [email protected]. Access to the event requires prior accreditation, a valid press pass, and an official ID. Parking on the academy grounds is limited, and license plate numbers must be provided in advance.

Following the ceremony, a 'blue light mile' will be held. This event will showcase the work of various Federal Police units.
