Woman sexually harassed on Berlin tram after three men assault her

A woman was sexually harassed and men who intervened were injured in Hellersdorf on Wednesday evening. Emergency responders were alerted around 9 p.m. to a stop near U-Bahnhof Hellersdorf after reports of an assault against a 36-year-old man and his companion.

According to initial findings and witness statements, the incident began inside a tram car, where three suspects allegedly touched an as-yet unidentified woman inappropriately on her buttocks and attempted to kiss her against her will.
