Arson Attack Devastates German School, Police Seek Witnesses
An arson attack struck the Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn Community School in Kornwestheim on Saturday evening. The incident caused extensive damage but left no one injured. Authorities are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with information. The fire broke out at around 9:40 p.m. when an unknown individual or group smashed a window to enter the building. Multiple blazes were then set in different rooms, with one area completely destroyed. The Kornwestheim Volunteer Fire Department arrived quickly and managed to stop the flames from spreading further.
The Criminal Police Division of the Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters has taken charge of the investigation. Early estimates place the property damage at around €200,000.
