In the race for Atlantic County Surrogate, Republican incumbent James Curcio secured his fourth five-year term, defeating Democrat Sherri Parmenter with a narrow margin of 48,580 to 45,044 votes. The open commissioner-at-large seat saw a close contest between Republican Art Schenker and Democrat Victoria Dolceamore, with Schenker currently leading by 1,000 votes.
