B9 Highway Exit Near Weißenthurm Closes Monday for Guardrail Repairs
A section of Federal Highway 9 (B9) will face closures on Monday, May 11, 2026, due to maintenance work. The exit near Weißenthurm, linking B256 to B9 toward Koblenz, will be shut for guardrail repairs between 9:00 AM and around 3:00 PM. The closure affects the ramp from B256 onto B9 in the direction of Koblenz. Drivers will need to follow a temporary detour, taking the B9 entrance toward Andernach before turning around to continue their journey.

The work is scheduled to finish by early afternoon, with the exit reopening once repairs are complete. Motorists are urged to plan ahead and check for live traffic information before setting out.
