Bad Krozingen's Easter egg hunt blends fun with community support
Easter Fun for Families in Need: Bad Krozingen Invites Children to a Special Egg Hunt
On Easter Monday, April 6, 2026, the Bad Krozingen Food Bank (Tafel Bad Krozingen) and the charity Die Hilfemacher e.V. from Sexau will host an Easter egg hunt in Bad Krozingen's spa park (Kurpark). The event is supported by Kur und Bäder GmbH. Between 10:00 and 11:30 AM, children can search for hidden nests in a designated area.
Here's how it works: Each child receives a memory card and must find the matching Easter nest on the so-called Osterwiese (Easter Meadow). Parents can purchase a nest for four euros. Organizers ask that children participate only when accompanied by an adult.
Beyond the fun, the event carries a social message. According to the organizers, it aims to raise awareness of the vital work done by food banks. They report a growing number of people in need—including an increasing number of locals.
In case of bad weather, the outdoor hunt will be canceled. Prepared Easter nests can then be picked up at the food bank's vehicle in the parking lot near the spa park.
