Berlin man arrested after allegedly threatening woman with a gun
A 63-year-old man from Berlin’s Wedding district is under investigation after allegedly threatening a woman with a firearm. The incident took place on Sunday in the courtyard of a residential building on Reinickendorfer Straße. According to reports, the man insulted a 35-year-old woman before brandishing a weapon from an open window of his apartment. Police responded by searching his home, where they confiscated a gas pistol, a loaded air-pressure revolver, and ammunition.
Authorities are now examining potential violations of Germany’s weapons law. The suspect also faces charges for making threats with a firearm and offensive behaviour.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police have secured multiple weapons from the suspect’s residence. Charges may follow depending on the outcome of the legal review.
