Unknown Perpetrators Break Into Office Building on Carl-Zeiss-Straße, Steal Safe Containing Tens of Thousands in Cash—Police Seek Witnesses
Brazen office burglary on Carl-Zeiss-Straße leaves police searching for clues
The burglary occurred between Saturday afternoon at 4:00 PM and Monday morning at 8:00 AM. The culprits forcibly entered the offices of a company located in the 30s block of the street.
Once inside, the thieves appear to have methodically searched all the cabinets before making off with a safe filled with cash. Authorities have not disclosed the exact amount stolen, nor have they provided details on the extent of property damage caused during the break-in.
The crime was only discovered on Monday morning. Detectives from Offenbach's burglary unit have taken over the investigation.
