The CDU Meerbusch has announced its new leadership team after a recent round of elections. Several members were re-elected to their roles, while new faces joined the committee. The event also featured a special guest who provided updates on local policing changes.
Fabian Hasebrink kept his position as deputy chair, continuing his work in the role. Dr. Felix Nieberding, the former managing director, was elected as the new deputy chair. Meanwhile, Stefan Söhngen took over as the party’s managing director.
Norma Köser remained treasurer, with Dr. Olaf Geissler staying on as deputy treasurer. Dr. Harald von Canstein was confirmed once again as membership officer. The committee saw both familiar and fresh names, with Linda Bähr, Christian Bößen, Veronika Hoppe, Claus Fischer, Sarah Kohtes, and Markus Walke all re-elected. New members Utkan Armutlu, Matthias Neunzig, and Lydia Tittes joined the team. District Administrator Katharina Reinhold attended as a guest and shared updates on the district police force. She reported that the recent restructuring had been fully successful, with no complaints recorded and security in Meerbusch maintained.
The CDU Meerbusch now has a mix of experienced and new committee members in place. The leadership changes come alongside positive feedback on local policing reforms. The party will move forward with its updated team and ongoing community focus.
