Creative Axis Chemnitz celebrates three years of urban transformation at closing event
The Creative Axis Chemnitz project is set to conclude on Thursday, November 20, with a closing event at Stadtwirtschaft, Jakobstraße 46, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. The event will showcase the diverse outcomes and partnerships achieved over three years of collaboration between the city of Chemnitz and Kreatives Chemnitz e.V., funded under the federal program 'Future-Proof City Centers and Districts'.
Key highlights of the event will include short presentations on new commercial uses, public space upgrades, innovative city labs, and projects funded through the Neighborhood Investment Fund. Representatives from the city, funding bodies, stakeholders in business, culture, and civil society, as well as project partners, will attend the event. Following the official program, attendees can network over snacks, drinks, and music.
The project has supported the development and revitalization of the Brühl, Straße der Nationen, and Sonnenberg neighborhoods. Despite limited information available on the final event partners, the project's impact on urban development is expected to be significant.
The closing event of the Creative Axis Chemnitz project is open to media representatives and promises to reflect on the project's achievements and its significance for the city's future. The event will conclude with networking opportunities, providing a platform for attendees to discuss and plan for the future of Chemnitz.
