Daylight Saving Time Begins Saturday Night—Here's How It Affects BSAG's Night Buses

Daylight Saving Time alters night bus schedules starting Sunday

The clocks will move forward one hour at 2:00 AM on Sunday morning, switching to 3:00 AM as Daylight Saving Time begins. What does this mean for BSAG's night services?

Night buses N1, N3, N4, N5, N7, N9, and N10 will depart from Hauptbahnhof at their usual scheduled times, though the 2:30 AM departures (old time) will now correspond to 3:30 AM (new time). The final night services will leave Hauptbahnhof at 6:30 AM (Daylight Saving Time). This results in one fewer departure, a change that also applies to connecting routes N6 (Roland-Center) and N8 (Vegesack station).

Delay or Not?

Full timetable details are available online at www.bsag.de and www.vbn.de. The FahrPlaner app provides real-time updates on all departure times. However, due to technical adjustments, some trips after 2:00 AM may incorrectly appear as delayed by 60 minutes in the app and on electronic displays at stops.
