€209,000 in ESF grants now open for Lörrach's social inclusion projects

Local organisations in the Lörrach district can now apply for European Social Fund (ESF) grants. The funding supports projects focused on employment, education, and social inclusion. A total of €209,000 is available for initiatives that help disadvantaged groups in the region.

The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) provides financial backing for schemes that assist vulnerable communities. Priority is given to long-term unemployed individuals, at-risk youth, and women facing precarious circumstances. Successful projects will receive between 30 and 40 percent of their total costs covered by the fund.

Organisations interested in securing funding must submit their proposals by **June 1, 2026**. The application process is managed through regional initiatives in Lörrach. Approved projects can start as early as **January 1, 2027**, with a maximum runtime of two years. Applicants are encouraged to gather information well in advance. Early preparation increases the chances of meeting the submission deadline and securing support for community-focused initiatives.

The €209,000 allocation will fund projects that improve social participation and inclusion. Eligible organisations have until next summer to apply. Once approved, the initiatives can launch in early 2027 and run for up to two years.
