POL-RE: Recklinghausen District/City of Bottrop – New Safety Training Dates for Pedelec/E-Bike Riders Aged 60
Free e-bike safety courses launched for seniors in Recklinghausen region
Recklinghausen Police, in cooperation with local adult education centers (Volkshochschulen, VHS), are once again offering safety training courses this year for riders of motor-assisted bicycles. The seminar—designed specifically for participants aged 60 and over—combines a theoretical component with a custom-developed skills course. The training is free of charge and can be booked through the respective VHS in each participating city. To take part, riders must bring a roadworthy pedelec or e-bike, a bicycle helmet, and weather-appropriate clothing. Sessions typically run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For precise details on locations and times, please refer to the course descriptions provided by your local VHS.
