Hawaii's top judge nominee faces scrutiny over union ties and transparency
I wish to express my disappointment in the Hawaii Supreme Court chief justice candidate, Judge Vladimir Devens. His reluctance to express his affiliation with the carpenters' union, after serving on the board of Pacific Resource Partnership super PAC Be Change Now, is very disappointing and I feel he is hiding things.
That kind of person should not be sitting in high authority. I feel there is a trust issue here.
